Airbus A320 reality.

Yasou everybody.

I have been mainly flying PMDG's jets, including the newer B737- series and the B777, which are really awesome, but I would like to learn to fly some Airbus jets too. What do you consider to be the most realistic and working Airbus on the market? I believe the FS Labs' product will be top notch when released, but it might take a while still. That would be THE Product for me to buy when it comes out, but for now, what do you pros suggest and what works thte best? Aerosoft Airbus Extended? Black Box's A320..?

Airbus X is the best option at this moment. It does not offer the depth of systems that we are used to by PMDG but it is a pretty decent choice that will allow you to perform a normal flight without issues. Steer clear of the BlackBox at this moment as it is full of problems and an incomplete product (I've tried the A330 and still feel robbed..). We are all waiting for the FSLabs!

I have tried the Airbus X Extended, but for some reason I can't get it working properly. The descents are way out of line and I can't make the ILS approaches work. As to speak, the V-NAV and APP don't work, and also the autothrottle goes off every now and then. It might also be, that I'm doing something wrong, but I strongly had that feeling that the plane did all the faulty procedures itself.
If you kind pilots know any decent tutorials to that plane, it'd be nice to give it anothere try...

Initially these problems (and more) were present but in the latest version 1.15 and 1.16 most problems were corrected and it is used by a lot of people (including myself) without issues.. Perhaps you tried an older version?
