Toronto and Montreal present a rivalry more than 100years old. The Montreal Canadians and the Toronto Maple Leafs were part of the original 6 NHL teams and the rivalry between these two teams and in-turn these two cities is legendary.
Help us celebrate the last time these two teams faceoff on NHL ice for the 2011-2012 regular season. Grab your favourite jet or piston pounder and Load up at CYYZ and file a flight plan to CYUL or vice versa to support your favourite team, city, and FIR!
The airport with the most completed departures to the rival airport wins like shooting a puck and scoring on your rival team.
Toronto FIR will also be rewarding a copy of Oryx’s Canadian Airports 1 to a pilot who completes two or more flights between CYUL and CYYZ (round robin or two same direction flights). All qualifying pilots will be entered into a random draw for the prize.
