Suggested aircraft
Hi,
I would like to suggest a couple of aircraft for the executive fleet.
1) Carenado Phenom 100. I belive it's a must have. Very well designed as most of carenados a/c.
2) wilco Airbus 319 ACJ. It's not the best aircraft you can find but since most of us own this it could be a substitute of the 737 BBJ.
3) Default Learjet 45. Again not the best quality but it could be a starting point for those who want to fly Executive but don't want to spend on an a/c.

Re: Suggested aircraft
Very good suggestions Orestis and user input is needed in building up the fleet.
Indeed having the default Learjet in the fleet is a must since we need an easy & free entry level for people who do not want to buy add on's.
For each aircraft database setup in OAV dispatch the following data are needed:
Seats: max persons on board (pax & crew)
Cargo: max cargo it can load
Consumption: average fuel consumption/hr on a usual flight
Range: nm range to empty tanks in usual average load and usual speed
Empty weight: weight without fuel, pax and cargo
MTOW: Max Take Off Weight
MLW: Maximum Landing Weight
Max. Fuel: The max fuel capacity
Some of the above data can be extracted from manuals, some by searching on the internet and some from FS to see how the specific aircraft is modeled by the developer.
Since our aircraft fly in FS and OAV ACARS reads FS data the better option is to extract the data from the FS aircraft Fuel and Payload menu interface and for what is not available there then to consult non FS sources.
At this stage is where I needed the unit conversions !
So
1) as a first step, we need the above data so that OAV can create the aircraft profiles in the database.
2) Next step is then the decision(s) in fleet build up that will come from OAV management (where and how many aircraft).
3) Last step is the creation of aircraft liveries in OAV custom repaints. Paint Kits provided by developers is crucial in this case. Without it the creation of the livery is impossible.

Re: Suggested aircraft
I believe there are freeware Learjet 45 models available that surpass the original one by far in terms of realism and functionality, and probably correct specifications and weights too! The issue is finding them... I am willing to look for nicer Learjet 45 free add-ons but I do not have the time to do that right now.

Re: Suggested aircraft
Ok
I did my best to collect all the data needed. I tried to compare 2-3 sources for each number so that I could get as close as possible.
Carenado Phenom 100
Seats: 1-2crew+7max (typicaly 4 pax configuration)
Cargo: 605 kg
Consumption: 337kg/h
Range: 1,178 nm (with 4 pax)
Empty weight: 3,235 kg
MTOW: 4,750 kg
MLW: 4433Kgr
Max. Fuel: 1.272Kgr
wilco Airbus 319 ACJ
Seats: 6 crew+36 guests max (typicaly in 8 or 19 pax configurations)
Cargo: 5280Kgr
Consumption: aprox 2600Kg/hr
Range: 6,000 nm (wouldn't push my luck with wilco :-) )
Empty weight: 58.515Kgr
MTOW: 75.500Kgr
MLW: 62.557Kgr
Max. Fuel: 49502 Kgr
Default Learjet 45
Seats: 1-2crew+9max (typicaly 8 pax configuration)
Cargo: 958 Kgr
Consumption: 600 Kgr/hr
Range: 1,824 nm
Empty weight: 5,829 kg
MTOW: 9,163 kg
MLW: 8,709 kg
Max. Fuel: 2,750 kg

Re: Suggested aircraft
Orestis very good work, thank you ! I will coordinate further with OAV management about introducing these aircraft types too in Executive.
George, thank you, no rush, when you have something let us know.

More info. on the OPERATIONS post.
Please report any errors found in Dispatch data since these aircraft have not been tested.
Custom briefing pages will be added later but any input from pilots using them is welcome !
Refer to other aircraft types briefing page as templates and email executive@oav.gr for suggested data.

Re: Suggested aircraft
Ευχαριστώ,

Re: Suggested aircraft
Γεια σας,
Θα ήθελα να ρωτήσω εάν μπορεί να προστεθεί στον στόλο της executive το Cessna 404 Titan?
Το link από το addon
http://www.alabeo.com/index.php?accion= ... correl=114
Έχω συμπληρώσει τις πληροφορίες του αεροσκάφους στο παρακάτω post της Aeroclub όπου και προστέθηκε:
http://forum.oav.gr/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1557
Αυτά είναι:
Pax number = 10 (pilot, copilot and 8 passengers)
Cargo capacity (Kg) = 680,388555 kg (1500 lbs)
Fuel capacity (Kg) = 1550,52 kg (n352 U.S. gal\t1332 L)
OEW (Kg) = 2186 kg
MTOW (Kg) = 3819 kg
MLW (Kg) = 3674 kg
Range (nm) = 2119 nm
Ευχαριστώ!

Συμπληρώνω: Consumption: average fuel consumption/hr on a usual flight = 160kg / hr.
