Vatsim Pilot certification program
Are there any thoughts of OAV becoming a Authorized Training Organizations for Vatsim in order to achieve Vatsim Pilot Rating here?

Re: Vatsim Pilot certification prgram
I second that thought. Taking into account that we have the infrastructure for pilot training already in place, it seems like a good step towards higher levels of expertise for our pilots and more international accreditation.

I second that, it is though exclusively a matter of available human resources, something not easy in hobbies.

I am quoting from the OM § 15.5:
Please contact the training department for more information (training@oav.gr).The Instructors of Olympic Air Virtual are accredited examiners from VATSIM and can award the P ratings. The pilots of our virtual airline can be tested as per the VATSIM guidelines and be awarded the VATSIM P rating P1, P2, P3 and P4.
