If you experience a problem where you launch OAV Acars and nothing happens-closes immediately, there's a high chance it's caused by the fact that windows doesn't recognize the application as trusted and blocks it. You can try one of the following two solutions.
Recommended solution. Uninstall OAV acars from your system, re-download oav acars setup, right click on the setup.exe file, select properties, click Unblock (if it's already blocked) under the General tab and OK. Run the setup and then oav acars.

Unblock the executable. OAV ACARS installation folder is located at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0. There you will find 2 more subfolders with a strange name and inside a folder with the name oava..tion...Enter that one and unblock oavacars.exe (If it's blocked) using the above sample picture as a guideline.
