Windshear DH8D

Hi Guys,

I've had today a really interesting and stressful approach to LROP. Weather was really bad, low vis, CB, BR etc. And a few miles from touchdown my speed dropped rapidly so that the autopilot disconnected and I had a really troubles recovering from the wind shear really sever one I guess although it was the first time ever I went through sth like that. Well my question is to those who knows better DH8D. Does it have such simple weather radar or Majestic does not simulate this?? Well it even had not given me any alarms that I was heading into wind shear.

I'd appreciate the info and what is the proper procedure for recovering DH8D from wind shear.


EDIT: OK now I've watched a little bit on internet and I start believing it was rather Microburst.
