Briefing:
Chambery LFLB airport has a steep ILS approach with at 4,46* degrees glide and is situated in between mountains and just south of a lakeshore (Hint: frequent FOG with winds calm).
The 769 ft. elevation airport has a 2.020m long runway surrounded closely by rising terrain in all quadrants confining aircraft movements in a small area and/or necessitating good climb out gradients.
Only instrument approach available is an 4.5 degrees glide ILS approach for Runway 18 from the north above the lake

From LFLB you will find in close distance amazing French sloped runway small ALTIPORTS like famous Courchevel LFLJ, Megeve and Meribel.
There you can fly only with light small aircraft.
