CAT II & CAT III callouts

Post by OAL714 Jean-Louis Leborne »

Could someone provide the english transcription of both CAT II and CAT III audio callouts ?

both files : FSL_CONCX_fo_cat2.wav + FSL_CONCX_fo_cat3.wav are located :
Drive:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Simulator X\Sound\FSLabs\ConcordeX\Callouts\English\FO

I'm afraid I can't really understand the very beginning that seems to contain the word "height" followed by CAT2 or CAT3...

No problem with the french callouts of course !

Same message posted yesterday on the FSLabs forum but no answer from UK captains yet. Do they fully get the callouts meaning ? ;D ;D

Merci
Jean-Louis

FSL_CONCX_fo_cat2.wav: "Alert height CAT II"
FSL_CONCX_fo_cat3.wav: "Alert height CAT III"

And if you wish to read more on the subject ;):
1480.pdf

"Alert" that's the word I was missing in both CAT II and CAT III audio callouts !!

Glad to know at least ! and many thanks to you Mike for clarifying and for the related link provided.

I'm going to instruct UK Concorde_X captains about that ;) ;)

Just to let you know, we have had last wednesday at the french division, an interesting TS debate related to "Low Visibility Procedure - Check your Minima !!" made by a former AF B747-400 captain Michel Vasseur.
