PMDG 737-700 landing nose issue

Post by OAL906 Georgios Tsikakis »

So I flown the route LGAV-LGRP again and this time corrected the weight distribution of the pmdg 737-700. Fully packed with 148 Pax (no cargo added to the flight) and 5.483kg of fuel (which inclused reserve fuel) with a CI of 30.
When landing at LGRP I have GW of 54,5-ish tonnes which is a good amount away from MLW for the 737-700 (around 58).
That being said I still got this which makes me a little uncomfortable when landing, note the stall indicator on the horizon showing where not to go over and it seem rather low. Now I am not sure if I am just used to fly so much Airbus and this is, in fact, normal or if I am doing something inherently wrong. As for the winds due to them being variable I couldnt really find a good app, will try tomorrow a return flight and hope for easier wind to also observe if it affects my noseup.
Here is the image attached, would be glad if anyone could help me with it, thanks!

Try this sequence of flaps and configuring for appr/Landing.
Flaps 1->5>Gear Down Faps 15-Flaps 25-Flaps 30/40
Dont forget that Boeing is pitching up a bit higher than Airbus.
Also dont forget to add to Vref half the wind velocity. So if the wind is max at 10 knots add 5 knots to approach speed and so on. But never exceed Vref+20 for B737 and Vref+15 for B738.
Did the trim "problem" we were talking about occurred?

I will try said sequence in the return flight today.
My problem isn't per se is that Boeing has a higher pitch in landing than Airbus, but the maximum pitch indication (I fumbled to find that word) with the yellow marks that seem rather low. Or is it normal but I am not used to it because I usually didn't have full pax most of the time? I'll keep in mind the Vref addition.
Thank you very much for the help

EDIT: While landing there were no issues with the trim, it was within the middle of the green band but again once flaps deployed, the maximum pitch appeared at around 10°.

That does relieve me a bit :) , but to just make sure that this is indeed normal, I did another flight with the new update from PMDG with the same route alone.
Here are again some screenshots attached for confirmation that this is indeed normal procedure during landing ;D

Some typical values for B738
Flaps 1 5° - 6° 1200 kg / 2600 lbs 62% 190 kts
Flaps 5 5° - 6° 1100 kg / 2400 lbs 60% 170 kts
