FlightSimLabs A320-X | A321-X Update Released
Lefteris of FlightSimLabs has today announced the release of v5.0.1.103 for the A320-X and the A321-X. Both of the downloads are ready to obtain through the redownload portal from their website. This release of the A321-X provides support for Prepar3D v5, along with numerous improvements and updates.
As with the release of the A320-X for Prepar3D, the A321-X brings with it improved PBR texturing for the external modelling, improved dynamic lighting and effects, along with the dynamic cabin window blind logic. As well as these improvements, numerous fixes to cockpit door logic, panel states and a fix to the VOR radios is also included with the latest update from FlightSimLabs.
Lefteris also touched upon the roadmap originally set out back in April. The team are working on bringing the A319-X to Prepar3D v5 followed by the release of the Sharklets for the Airbus series of aircraft models. Following on from that, he did mention Microsoft Flight Simulator, but has yet to confirm any development is taking place. Instead, Lefteris mentioned that the team have “been carefully aligning our business to explore all possibilities the new sim will allow.”
Finally, FlightSimLabs are looking for additional developers to join their team. If you think you have what it takes to be a C++/C# developer or a 3D modeller, you can see how to apply via their forums.
