A2A planes make fsx se stop working

Post by OAL103 Yannis Konstantinidis »

Hi all,

I am having problems with both planes. C172 and C182 from a2a.

Both of them make fsx se stop working. In every single flight.
The weird thing is that once I've bought them both were working fine but after a couple of flights I have this problem.
In the event viewer it's always fsx se error.
The problem exists ONLY when using these two planes.
Pmdg, fslabs, Carenado, real air everything is working fine.
I have dx10, asn, orbx, registered fsuipc and Gtn 750
I have reinstalled and updated everything.

It is really weird and believe me very frustrating. Everything is working except these two planes. So I am pretty sure it's something wrong with these two products.

I know a lot of you have either one of both.

I would really appreciate any help,

Ps. I have already made a post at a2a forums but I am sure they won't help like they did last time lol

Yanni,

When FSX stops working, what error do you get? If you do not get an error, can you describe what happens?

Since FSCopilot (the faulting module) is part of FSInn, which I assume you use, if you uninstall FSInn and FSCopilot, does it resolve your problem?

Hi again Mike,

And thank you for the fast response.
Tbh I don't use fsinn and I am pretty sure I have uninstalled it already.
As far as for fscopilot I don't even know what it is.

I am using vpilot only

So I guess I have to find fscopilot and uninstall it also or should I install back fsinn?

FSCopilot I part of FSInn so if you are not using it something is left over causing your problems.

Hi again Mike,

I will try to look for any still existing files and delete them.

The only thing I can't understand is why it occurs only with a2a planes while all other addons are working fine

No idea, however since you are using vPilot it shouldn't even be there..

The only relevant topic I managed to find, explaining things with FSX:SE and FSInn/FSCopilot in depth, was in A2A forum. Maybe having a look will provide a deeper understanding on some different methods FSX:SE employs to identify modules and help towards a solution..
